Makermemos, another podcast about indie hacker side projects!
I’m Jonathan and I love building side projects and reading about what fellow indiehackers have built too. Whilst browsing countless articles on Reddit & Hacker News or following product launches on indiehackers.com and Product Hunt, I realised that what I’m really inspired by is the story behind a side project as much as the product itself. I always find myself wanting to ask the maker a bunch of questions like why did they build it in the first place!
So whilst there’s a few podcasts doing this, they tend to focus on makers who have already had a significant traction or notable revenue. So I thought it would be cool to create one myself, focussing more on those who have created pure side projects, i.e something they are working on alongside their main job or those in the super early stages pre/low revenue, getting their first customers.
With that in mind, the goal behind this podcast is to create fairly short interviews of indie makers (~20mins). Digging into the why behind their idea, how they went about building it, their tech stack and what tools they used, launching their product and what next!
